Can you find a store that carries them, or someplace you can listen to them before buying? My only hesitation on the 10" would be whether it can reproduce enough bass for large crowds and big sound. I know you mentioned using a sub, but what if you decide in the future not to use a sub? You might be tied to a sub if the speakers are lacking in bass.

Try a Guitar Center near you. I know they carry them.

QSC - 6Yr warranty!

My opinion - 10" speakers, OK for up to maybe 75 people outside.
12" maybe 125-150 depending on conditions.
15" will get you maybe 200 people, but with that many people, a sub is a good idea.

It also all comes down to the program material. Some things just sound better with more bass.

Remember, you can always turn it down, turning it up beyond distortion levels hurts your performance, and your equipment.
