Default Birthday - movie party - July 31, 2010

Notes: this was a repeat customer, so I was already familiar with the set up (which is very easy).

Equipment: 10' CB screen, DW5000u projector, 10" EONs

First pic, setup location on patio:

Nice setup area, and clean looking setup too.

What would you have done if there was wind and you had to tie the screen down? Or is it really not that much of a problem with the 10' screen?

I have been thinking more and more about a 10' screen. (but then I would want smaller speakers too)

Thanks.

Since I knew this location, I was pretty sure the house would block any wind (but the forecast showed only minimal wind anyway). I did have 4 cinder blocks in the trailer that I would have brought out and tied the screen to, but I ended up not needing them. But also, like you said, the 10' screen is less effected by wind.

The 10' screen is my most rented screen. It's where the "homeowner" market is, for sure. But you're looking at smaller paychecks per event.

Hey, if you go with a 10' CB screen let me know. I would LOVE to piggyback an order for a replacement 10' screen (or two!).

I will defiantly let you know. Like you said, right now I am concentrating on the $1200+ jobs, so big events it is. (started getting a couple inquires for around the region) A 10' screen would be nice to have, just the the heck of it, I just got a back-up 3000 lumen projector that would work super for a screen that size.

Also, I got 2x 5 gal gas cans for hold-down on hard surfaces. Full them with water, and it should work - I think. I actually got them for my rain location (high school gym) cause I thought the screen would be tippy, but it was OK (but only had 4" clearance to the rafters!)

BTW - repeat customers are GREAT! You know what to expect, and it says that you did a good job the event before.
